Traveler config

I assume you mean you upgraded Traveler to 8.5.0.1 and not 8.5.1. Anyway - Traveler config in general is performed by Traveler itself, there is usually not much to do unless of course you set NTS_AUTO_CONFIG=false in the notes.ini file. If so, you may want to consider setting to true and restarting to allow Traveler to verify the configuration.

I actually suspect however in this case that the problem is that the Auto Sync port 8642 is not open to the server. Both ports are required for configuration to be successful. Any easy way to check this port is to open a command prompt on a laptop and run:

telnet hostname 8642

If the port is open, you will get a blank screen. If the port is closed you will get an error message. Take the laptop to a location outside your company firewall and test to simulate a device connecting over a carrier network.

Hope this helps.
